Tree Constraints Plans
These show accurate crown spreads, root protection areas, categories and tree numbers and are usually based on the existing site drawing.
Tree Protection Plans
These are a progression of the Tree Constraints Plans, and usually show the proposed site layout together with any proposed tree protection measures and tree removals.
All we need from you is:
A Site Plan – This will normally be your client’s topographical survey, as a CAD file (e.g. .dwg).
Your Tree Survey Schedule – Ideally in our standard spreadsheet (see below).
A Marked Up Plan – Showing us which tree is which, and the direction of North. This can come as a scan, marked up paper copy in the post or a marked up PDF or similar.
Tree Constraints Plan (to BS5837:2012)
To make the process as efficient and cost effective as possible, we have provided a ‘standard’ spreadsheet that you can use for your tree surveys. Please contact us for a copy of this spreadsheet.
We will then produce a basic Tree Constraints Plan (TCP) that would look something like this:
Tree Protection Plan
From this we can then overlay your client’s proposed site plan, and work with you to produce a Tree Protection Plan (TPP) if needed, showing tree protection fencing, temporary ground protection and no dig construction etc.
The Final Product
We will also produce a key that can be placed onto the drawing, with all of your contact details, and details of how to read the plan. Here’s an example:
Already producing some of your own plans?
Are you already producing some of your own plans using the likes of AxciScape, arbEvolve, Pear Technology or OTISS but would like more help with scaling the drawings, setting up drawing sheets, overlaying proposals and adding tree protection details? We can help, please get in touch.
